With
a range of dedicated products designed
especially for both the Photovoltaic and
Semiconductor industry sectors, we have
recently exhibited at the 22nd European
PV and Solar Exhibition in Milan and Semicon
Europa in Stuttgart.
These two events provided us with the
perfect platform to demonstrate our new
"non contact"
Bernoulli grippers using dynamic simulated
working displays.
Visitors seeing these grippers in action
for the first time were simply blown away!.

| European
Innovation Vehicle |
 |
|
During
the last five weeks our 15 metre long demonstration
vehicle has been taking our latest new products
directly to our customer´s in England, Scotland
and Northern Ireland. Using a combination
of fully dynamic working application panels
and fixed product displays, the vehicle
truly endorses our commitment to product
development, our quality and our understanding
of factory automation applications. With
just one more week to complete in the UK,
the vehicle will head south into France
for three weeks from 12th November prior
to its well deserved Christmas break.

As
an organisation that likes to work closely with
our customers, each month we will dedicate a small
section of this e-newsletter to provide you with
a "Top Tip" which we hope could make a
real difference to your business.
For this month, our "Top Tip" is something
which is very close to our hearts - Energy Saving.
Many industries use air blow as part of their manufacturing
process. Often this can account for up to 50% of
the total compressed air consumed, but this is often
overlooked when energy costs are under scrutiny.
An "open blow" system where the air is
blown through the air outlet without the use of
end fittings (nozzles) is now recognised as one
of the biggest consumers of compressed air.

Prevention of wastage in
air blow:
- Use regulator, to insure the right pressure at
the nozzle
- Reduce pressure loss in upstream piping
- Check the distance to the work piece and select
the correct diameter nozzle
- Install a solenoid valve to reduce the blow time
operation - from constant to intermittent operation
