SMC is responding to market demand with its new HRSH Series thermo chiller, featuring an innovative triple inverter that delivers energy, space and weight savings.
The triple inverter controls the compressor motor, fan and pump and subsequently uses up to 53% less power in comparison to a non-inverter.
Compact and lightweight, thanks to an integrated mechanical pump and small tank, the HRSH is available in air or water cooled types and has a large cooling capacity range of 9.5kW to 25kW as well as temperature stability of ± 0.1 ºC. Another benefit is that the circulating fluid can be heated without the use of a heater, even during the winter months, by using the hot gas exhausted from the compressor circuit.
To reduce maintenance time, the pump has been designed without the need for a seal, removing the need for periodic checks for leakages or replacing damaged seals. Further maintenance improvements are guaranteed thanks to the easy to use advanced control functions, such as self-diagnosis or check display, plus a communication function for remote control and operation.
Also, being splash proof for outdoor installations, the HRSH is a truly versatile product that can also accommodate global voltages removing the need for step down transformers.
