A key feature is the JC's aluminium case which offers up to 30% reduction in weight, reducing the inertial forces and lateral loads to actuators whilst operational. The joint is also protected by a dustproof cover, extending its operating life. With a rotating angle of ±5° and allowable eccentricity of ±0.5 to 1mm, the JC is designed to compensate for any misalignment that may occur between the workpiece and the cylinder. This deviation absorption capacity reduces the wear of the cylinders, extending their service time. It can operate at a maximum tensile/compressive force of 3100N for cylinder bore sizes ranging from 20 to 63mm and with thread sizes from M8x1.25 to M18x1.5.
