EMO 2015
5 - 10 October
Milan, Italy
Hall 11, Stand F17
SMC, a global leader in pneumatic and electrical automation technology, will be showcasing its full range of ‘tools’ for the mechanical engineering industry at this year’s EMO 2015, Milan from stand F17 in Hall 11.
From machine tools and precision tools to linking devices and industrial electronics, visitors to the SMC stand will be impressed by the solutions displayed in six product zones: Sensor & Diagnostic, Handling, Cooling & Filtration, Machinery Safety, Valves & SI Units and Energy Saving.
In the Sensor & Diagnostic area the newly launched ISA3 digital gap checker will be showcased. Designed with operators in mind, the ISA3 makes it simple to gauge the distance between the detection surface and the tool, with an easy three step entry system for the switch point value. These features deliver savings in terms of labour time, energy and operating costs.
Also taking a stand will be the RHC high power rod cylinder and the SGC coolant valve. The RHC is ideal for high speed operations or heavy loads at lower speeds, thanks to its longer cushion design. Compatible with speeds up to 3000 mm/s with light loads, it has the capacity to absorb 10 to 20 times more energy than general purpose cylinders.
And the SGC enjoys a long service life with at least 5 million cycles and is environmentally friendly too thanks to its energy efficiencies and reduced reliance for harmful chemical substances.
SMC’s Massimo Gaetti, Industrial Sectors Sales Manager said: “We can’t wait to welcome people to our stand and give them an insight into the outstanding range of products that we produce for the machine tool industry.
“We are always looking into the future and designing solutions for
our customers that will help them maintain a competitive advantage in a
demanding global marketplace.”
The SMC stand F17 in Hall 11 will be hosted by a team of multi-lingual technical
experts that are skilled in developing solutions to meet their customers’
challenges.
