BIOTECHNCA and LABVOLUTION 2015
6 – 8 October
Hall 9, Stand C21
SMC, a global leader in pneumatic and electrical automation technology, will be showcasing its extensive range of energy efficient, reliable and long-life solutions for the biotechnology and life science sectors at this year’s BIOTECHNICA and LABVOLUTION, at Deutsche Messe, Hannover from stand C21 in Hall 9.
Under the banner ‘Discover the symbiosis of ideas and innovation’, SMC will showcase its impressive range of smart product solutions, reinforcing its credentials as a global, single source partner.
With the introduction of LABVOLUTION, a trade fair for laboratory technology, alongside BIOTECHNICA and the European Lab Automation Congress, never before has there been an opportunity to reach the entire world of lab equipment under one roof.
With high levels of accuracy and repeatability core to lab environments,
amongst SMC’s automation line-up will be its range of LE electric
actuators and VXB valves.
From miniature and easy to use options to highly technical, bespoke solutions, SMC’s complete range of LE actuators offer outstanding speed, positioning and control.
The VXB range of angle seat valves have minimal leakage of 10 cm³/min or less, a long service life of up to 5 million cycles for the air product and can fit into small spaces due to its height of just 100 mm, also making them ideal for the biotechnology and life science sectors.
These products will be joined by SMC’s newly launched basic type HRSE thermo-chiller, which is energy efficient and easy to operate. It is ideal for applications that require a constant temperature of fluid supply to equipment and is quiet to operate and small enough to fit into small spaces, making it ideal for the biotechnic and life science industries.
Other key features of the HRSE include a triple control for the compressor, fan and electronic control valve, offering easy control based on the heat generated from equipment and delivering 35% energy savings.
SMC’s Manager Sales Development Life Science, Alexander Pawera said: “The life science and biotechnology sectors require precise, durable and reliable solutions that meet international standards. At SMC we understand these needs and have an unrivalled range of industry specific solutions that are available globally, from a single source.
“At this year’s BIOTECHNICA and LABVOLUTION, we are looking
forward to the opportunity to show off our range of smart components and
The SMC stand C21 in Hall 9 will be hosted by a team of technical experts that are skilled in developing solutions to meet their customers’ challenges.
