CO2 emission-reducing products during the production process

With SMC’s use of topology optimization, which is the methodology of finding the most efficient design for an object on a mathematical and mechanical basis, in the design process, more compact, lightweight products can be realized compared with existing products, resulting in a large reduction in the amount of CO2 emissions during production. In addition, these products can also contribute to energy-saving and CO2 reduction during usage.

Power-saving circuit

The power-saving circuit can reduce CO2 emissions (power consumption) when the device is energized

Power consumption can be reduced by approx. 75 % by reducing the wattage required to hold the valve in an energized state.
