SMC classifies its proximity sensors into two primary categories:
SMC’s proximity sensors are offered in standard models or with a two-colour indicator for easy visual confirmation of the best operating position. Options include magnetic-field resistance, heat resistance, and wide detection ranges. Multiple lead wire lengths are also available for flexible installation.
SMC’s solid-state switches include options with two-colour indication and diagnostic outputs for better performance tracking. For harsh conditions, water-resistant models with two-colour indication are also offered.
