SMC will be flexing its muscle at Medica 2012, the world's largest medical marketplace.
At the exhibition, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany from 14th to 17th November, SMC will display its range of highly specialised products for the Life Science industry from a custom designed 72sq m stand, in Hall 3, Booth 3B52. The company will also have a smaller stand at sister exhibition Compamed in Hall 8, Booth 8aN01 from 14th – 16th Nov.
Taking centre stage at Medica will be SMC's best-selling LVM solenoid valves. This miniature valve range has proved to be a big hit with customers, due to its outstanding chemical resistance and range of sizes. Offering the perfect solution when lack of space is a problem, a common issue facing the medical engineering and laboratory automation industries, the LVM valves are available from 1mm in diameter with additional power saving circuit options.
Likewise, visitors to Medica will get to see SMC's custom engineered acrylic manifolds which are designed to prevent mistakes in piping and wiring and therefore lead to cost savings in terms of labour. Offering a compact solution, the acrylic manifolds are up to 50 per cent smaller and lighter and have reduced piping work of up to 90 per cent when compared to conventional systems.
SMC's HRS thermo-chiller will also be on display offering a temperature control solution for liquids. The HRS can operate with circulating fluid temperatures between 5-40°C, deliver precise temperature control with outstanding stability of ±0.1°C and a cooling capacity of 5100W.
All the products on display will demonstrate SMC's range of solutions for the Life Science industry. Visitors to SMC's stands in Halls 3 and 8a will be welcomed by a selected team of multinational and multilingual experts who will be on-hand to answer any questions.
Further information about SMC's Life Science products can be found at a dedicated site in the Industry Solutions section of www.smc.eu.
