We have upgraded our long life 2/3 port mechanical valve, VM 100/200 Series that has been redesigned with simplicity in mind. Brighter in appearance, the VM100/200 can withstand harsh operating conditions, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to refine our products. The series' lightweight and compact design, delivers both cost and space savings. It has four mounting variations, two piping options and several types of actuators that can be easily interchanged and/or replaced. Visual control has been simplified thanks to colourful push button and twist selector options; plus a small, visual indicator on the VM100 bottom ported model also makes maintenance checks easier to perform. Suitable for a wide range of applications, including vacuum, the VM 100/200 is ideal for pneumatic control panels and confirming the position of a workpiece using a pneumatic signal.
The VM series is a mechanical, poppet valve. Their compact size requires little mounting space. The VM series offers a wide variety of actuator styles and flow capacity up to 18mm².
Series VFM is a 5 port, compact, mechanical valve available in a rubber (VFM300) or metal (VFM200) seal style. This series has a large flow capacity (18mm²) and a high cycle rate. The VFM offers an internal or external pilot body option and a variety of actuator choices.
The VZM series is a 5 port mechanical valve. It is compact in design with a large flow capacity (VZM400 10mm², VZM500 10,9mm²). The VZM is available in a metal or rubber spool style, with a variety of actuator choices and optional external pilot.
We have extended our mechanical valve range, with our 5 port foot pedal valve: Series XT34-60/67. With 2 models available, with and without lock, it can be easily operated by foot. It has a flow rate of up to 184 l/min and an operating pressure from 0.15 to 0.9 MPa. Suitable for a wide range of applications, the XT34-60/67 is ideal to control double acting actuators.
The VHS Series is the latest product to benefit from a design review as part of our investment in R&D to improve the performance and functionality of SMC products, as well as to develop innovations that drive energy savings and deliver competitive advantages for our customers. A result of this focus, the updated VHS features an increased flow rate of up to 45%, which means it can be used for larger applications, offering commercial benefits as customers don't have to pay for bigger and therefore, more costly valves. The new VHS Series also has two material options for the handle and bonnet; PBT resin and aluminium. The PBT resin is highly flame resistant and up to 60% lighter than the conventional all-aluminium model. Furthermore, the double action model, which prevents malfunctions, is available in two new sizes, the VHS2510 and VHS3510. Other new features include a built-in silencer to save space in the area below the valve and the mounting bracket. All this is combined with an improved look to complement the new air preparation AC Series.
Finger valve series VHK has a large effective area of 2.0 to 17.5mm². This series begins with a minimum tube O.D of ø4. The valve direction clearly indicates whether the valve is open or closed (shut to open is counter- clockwise). Classification of knob by color difference facilitates distinction between 2 port valves (gray) and 3 port valves (blue). The optional flame resistant model's knob, whether using the 2 or 3 port valve, is red.
Series VR1210/1200 shuttle valve is a 3 ported valve with one output and 2 pneumatic signal and input ports. Output is always supplied by high pressure inlet. The VR12**F series are interrupters for control of air pressure signal system lines. Piping is possible in any position and the one-touch fittings make piping connections simple. Time delay valve series VR2110 with its combination of adjustable orifice and fixed flow allows transmission of a pneumatic signal after a fixed time period.
