The CRB1 vane style rotary actuator is offered in 4 sizes (50, 63, 80 and 100 mm). Rotation angles of up to 270° is possible for the entire series. The double vane style offered on the 90° and 100° rotation allows twice the torque of the single vane. Bearings are used throughout the series to support thrust and radial loads. In addition, rubber bumpers are used internally (except for size 10) making this series highly reliable. Optional auto switches can be moved anywhere along the circumference to allow mounting in a position that is most appropriate for your specifications.
We have introduced an upgraded version of our CRB2 Series vane type rotary actuator, which in addition to the double shaft, features a single shaft as standard. The CRB2-Z offers easier piping due to the parallel location of the ports, which can be side or axial ported, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to improve the performance and functionality of our products. With four rotating angle options, ranging from 90° to 270°, the CRB2-Z has the flexibility to be used within tight spaces. It can also manage heavier loads thanks to the double vane type which has twice the torque capacity of the single vane option but with the same dimensions. There is also the optional use of an auto switch unit – in which the auto switches can be secured in any position in the circumferential direction – and / or an angle adjustor unit, both of which can be directly mounted onto the actuator's body.
The series MSUB compact rotary table is perfect for end-of-arm tooling applications. It incorporates load bearings and a mounting face with a vane style rotary actuator. Rotation indicators on the side of the table facilitate easy rotating range adjustments.
SMC's MK-Z has an allowable moment of inertia 3 times higher than the conventional MK and MK2 styles. The overall length is the same as the conventional styles, and mounting dimensions are interchangeable with the MK series. Auto switches can be mounted on any of the 4 surfaces with no projection of the switch.
Combining compact cylinder size and rotational capability, the MK2 cylinder is designed for heavy duty clamping applications, with an available integrated arm that swings out of the way when the cylinder is extended. 90deg. clockwise or counter clockwise rotation is available, and clamping arms with adjustment screw are standard options. MK2 is available in 6 bore sizes from 20mm to 63mm and stokes from 10 mm to 50 mm.
The MRHQ series is a rotary gripper suitable for holding and reversing work pieces on transfer lines. The compact integration of gripping and rotating functions eliminates the peripheral piping and wiring of the previous product (rotary table + adapter + air gripper). The length of the MRHQ series has been reduced by approximately 20% compared with the previous products.
The MRQ provides linear and rotary motion either simultaneously or alternately. It meets many handling applications, is simple to use, and when combined with SMC grippers, provides combined motions for picking, transferring, and rotation. Available in 32 and 40mm bores with strokes from 5 to 100mm; rotation from 90° to 180°. Connection ports are available on both sides of the cylinder, as well as end-of-stroke sensing for all positions.
