Established in Japan in 1959, SMC is the UK and world market leader in the supply and support of pneumatic and electro pneumatic products. We currently have a sales presence in 82 countries, and we are proud of our purpose-built production, logistics and administration facility in Milton Keynes. SMC UK opened in 1978 and currently employs around 400 staff at our Milton Keynes site including 100 sales engineers.

SMC offers an extensive range of over 10,000 pneumatic products and 500,000 variations, tailored to customer needs. Operating in 80+ countries, it provides cutting-edge technology and high-quality solutions.

Recent R&D advancements include hygienic cylinders, enhanced valve seals, and ultrahigh vacuum technology. Products meet ISO 9001 standards for reliability and longevity. SMC supports just-in-time operations with custom-designed pneumatic systems built by skilled teams. It remains a leader in Corporation technology and innovation.

SMC UK work with various industries such as automotive, electronics, life science, food, fluid control, machine tools, additive manufacturing, and packaging to name but a few!

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to deliver high-quality, responsive technical support, while collaborating with SMC teams across Europe, our Engineering Headquarters in Japan, and manufacturing sites in the UK, Italy, and the Czech Republic. This ensures designs follow best practice and are ready for efficient production.
