Meeting food industry challenges means having automation specialists directly on the factory floor

Diego joined SMC Italia 24 years ago as Sales Engineer for the North West part of Italy. In 2000 moved to SMC Germany to be part of the Automotive Project as Key Account Manager for part suppliers. In 2006 Diego took the responsibility for European launch of the Food Industry Project. Ever since, he has been focusing on understanding the food market, key solutions and applications in order to best develop and expand products range according to Food Industry´s Directives.

When Diego is not travelling, his life is simple: eat healthy, swim enthusiastically and sleep a lot ... if not, biking is the best way to keep the mind free. 
But also his cooking skills are awesome; this is what friends and family say!
