Saeyeong Jeong | European Battery Industry Manager, SMC Europe

Saeyeong began his journey with SMC in 2009 when he joined SMC Korea. In 2012, he moved to SMC CEE Group in Austria, where he continues to contribute his expertise on a global scale.
From a young age, he has been passionate about helping others. He started volunteering with the Red Cross Youth during his childhood and later served as a KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) volunteer in Ethiopia for two years as an adult. It was there that he met his wife, and together they now have a daughter.
Saeyeong finds great joy in sharing knowledge with others. As the battery industry was emerging, he took the initiative to develop an internal training program to help his colleagues understand the field. To date, more than 600 employees around the world have benefited from his training on battery technology.
In his free time, Saeyeong enjoys traveling with his family and spending quiet moments reading. He also holds a 5th Dan in Taekwondo and continues to train regularly, maintaining a balance between body and mind.
