The application process at SMC
About a week after receiving your application, we will contact you with initial feedback on your submission. If this feedback is exceptionally delayed, we will inform you via e-mail about it.
Our Human Resources Department coordinates the further process of your application with the responsible department and, in case of a match, invites you to a first personal meeting. Both - you and us - should have a solid basis for deciding on a possible collaboration, so our application process usually consists of at least two meetings. Depending on the area of ​​responsibility and the progress of the application process, we offer you a personal tour through our company where you can get to know your future working environment. In the final discussion, we finalize the working contract and set the first steps for your start as a member of the SMC team.

Important decisions take time
Our profession shapes our lives. Hence, we manage your application with the utmost care. Of course, it is important to us to have an swift-as-possible application process. Nevertheless, the focus is on getting to know each other and feeling empathetic about whether the other person is the right partner for a long common professional future. The entire application process therefore amounts to around one to two months after submission of your documents.
